Jamie Mollart

Jamie Mollart’s first novel, The Zoo, was on the Amazon Rising Star list, his second, Kings of A Dead World, was an Amazon best seller and had an exclusive Waterstones edition.

He is a member of Nottingham Writers Studio, a mentor and tutor for Writing East Midlands and is currently working with two authors on their debut novels.

He's a member of the newly launched Climate Fiction Writers League, a group of global authors all raising awareness about climate change through their writing.

As a long running guest on the influential writers’ podcast, Litopia, Jamie regularly discusses writing and publishing with Peter Cox and other guests.

He has written for Writers and Artists Yearbook, The Bookseller and has been featured on multiple BBC radio shows talking about his writing. He is an award-winning advertising marketer and runs his own advertising agency.

In 2022 he wrote and produced his first feature film, The Unlock, now in post-production. He has adapted The Zoo as a screenplay and it has won first prize in the London Independent Story Prize and got an Honourable Mention at the Los Angeles International Underground Film Festival.

His next novel, Like Son, is complete, and he is currently working on his fourth.
