Meet the author

"He's quite a writer"
Patrick Neate author of 'City of Tiny Lights' and 'Jerusalem'.

My work has been published in Read This Magazine, Disorder Magazine, Box magainze, What's on Stage and the Leicester Mercury. I have been a regular guest on the Litopia After Dark podcast, the world's most popular podcast for readers and writers and I contribute to the well respected Vulpes Libres blog. I have read my work publicly at Short Fuse and my writing was praised by author Patrick Neate on the Book Slam podcast.

In my professional life I am a director of a successful advertising agency, so not only do I know the world in which my novel is based, but I am uniquely positioned to utilise my existing platform, create a buzz for my work using my agency resources and contacts, and to exploit the online channels that are essential to book marketing in the digital world.

I have been allocated a mentor through the Writing East Midlands, a body funded by the Arts Council. Tim Clare, author of 'We can't all be astronauts' is working with me on polishing the final draft of the novel prior to submissions.

I am a prolific writer with a large and growing platform. I understand the importance of author branding and have in place the infrastructure and experience to market myself and my work in conjunction with a potential publisher's efforts.
